Events for November 5, 2019

CASA Pre-Service Training consists of 17 hours of classroom training and 13 hours of home learning assignments, totaling 30 hours of training. This training is spread over 6 weeks with afternoon and evening sessions available. New recruits must also complete background checks and 3 hours of CPS courtroom observation. New recruits will be sworn in on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Make-up training sessions (if needed) will be scheduled between 12/9/2019 and 12/11/2019, but times will vary based on CASA staff availability. If you note a conflict on your calendar for more than two (2) of the classroom training sessions or the Swear-In Ceremony on December 12 at 5:30 p.m., please notify the Recruitment and Training Coordinator.
